Sizing
MAYHEM FITS ON WELL ROUND HEADS. If you have an Oval head it will not sit low unless it is custom fit to your head.
To measure your head for the correct size, take a tape measure just above your brow around your head, just at the top of your ears. If your head measures in between sizes, order the size smaller. Our helmets should fit snug when new; they stretch and mold to the shape of your head.

Is this German style motorcycle helmet DOT approved?
Yes. The Mayhem meets or exceeds D.O.T. FMVSS No. 218 standards.
Will the Mayhem fit my head shape?
The Mayhem fits round heads best. On an oval head it may not sit as low unless it is custom fit.
How do I measure my head for a motorcycle helmet?
Measure approximately 1 inch above your eyebrows, around the widest part of your head. Use a soft fabric tape and do not overtighten. If you don't have one, wrap a phone charging cord around your head, mark it, and measure the cord against a ruler. Please don't use a metal tape measure, because it won't bend to fit your head. Then match your measurement to the size chart.
How tight should a motorcycle helmet be?
Snug, not tight. A snug fit at first is normal. The liner molds to the shape of your head after a few rides for a custom-like fit.
What if I'm between sizes?
Size down. The comfort liner breaks in slightly over time, so the smaller size will settle into the shape of your head. A helmet that feels like it's creeping up off your head is too small.
