Since our designs are proprietary, our helmets DO NOT fit like the cheaper universal helmets. Please measure your head before ordering. Just in case, we always call you to confirm the correct size and see if we can answer any other sizing questions before shipment.

Is the Blister a DOT approved beanie helmet?
Yes. The Blister meets or exceeds the DOT FMVSS No. 218 standard, with the lowest profile available while maintaining DOT certification.
Which head shape does the Blister fit best?
Blister helmets fit semi-round heads best.
How do I measure my head for a motorcycle helmet?
Measure approximately 1 inch above your eyebrows, around the widest part of your head. Use a soft fabric tape and do not overtighten. If you don't have one, wrap a phone charging cord around your head, mark it, and measure the cord against a ruler. Please don't use a metal tape measure, because it won't bend to fit your head. Then match your measurement to the size chart.
How tight should a motorcycle helmet be?
Snug, not tight. A snug fit at first is normal. The liner molds to the shape of your head after a few rides for a custom-like fit.
What if I'm between sizes?
Size down. The comfort liner breaks in slightly over time, so the smaller size will settle into the shape of your head. A helmet that feels like it's creeping up off your head is too small.

Yes. We call every customer to confirm head size and shape before shipping. Our team will reach out by phone, text or email.
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship within 2-5 business days (no shipping on weekends or holidays). Delivery typically takes 3-10 business days. Standard shipping is available to the contiguous U.S.
What sizes do you offer?
Blister helmets come in 7 sizes, from 2XS to 2XL. Most helmet brands cover the same 20-25 inch range in only five sizes; we break it into seven so you can get a more precise fit. Use the size chart to find yours.
What's the difference between Micro DOT and Micro Lid?
Micro DOT helmets are DOT certified. Micro Lid is our separate non-DOT line and is labeled "Not Dot" on the product. This helmet is a Micro DOT.

Warranty

Micro DOT Helmets are warranted for a lifetime against all safety defects. (The original interior label must be intact for all warranty claims to be honored.) Micro DOT Helmets have free replacement if damaged in a verifiable accident. (A copy of the police/accident report and proof of purchase are required.)

Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase if the helmet is unused, in its original packaging, with all labels intact. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless we shipped the wrong item. Exchanges for a different size or model are available if the helmet is unused and resellable. Include $10 (cash or check) with the exchange. Refunds include a $10 restock/cleaning fee. Please do not remove the size sticker or the internal label. Removing it voids the warranty and the return policy. Closeout items are final sale.
